Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 30 years old male. My height is 5'10," and my weight is 194.00 Ibs. In the past three years, my weight has increased from 171.96 to 194.00 Ibs. I do have migraines, for which I take Flexon when needed. I have attached a consolidated health report for the past three years. Please help me to understand the health checkup report.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through the detailed reports (attachment removed to protect patient identity). Addressing your primary complaint is weight gain, an increase in weight of 10 kg over three years is physiological and can be attributed to a sedentary lifestyle. Your Vitamin D insufficiency irrespective of medication can be explained due to lack of sun exposure. All other deficiencies in microelements are highly variable, and also inter-lab differences would be there. Do not worry unless you have any symptoms.

Do you have any complaints like extreme malaise, bowel habits like constipation or recurrent diarrhea, loss of appetite or increase in appetite, diabetes, or thyroid history? Any other important medical history is missed, do let me know.

Else for weight gain, cut down your calories, increase protein content with a concurrent decrease in carbs and fat.

Increase your workout. Also, do outdoor activities like running (with mask) and outdoor games. Eat dairy products like curd and buttermilk. Avoid all whites like rice, refined flour, sugar, and excessive milk consumption, especially for beverages like coffee and tea.

Also as you work on computers, there are more chance of getting headaches. Maintain good distance and good contrast while working on computers as well as television.

Get done FBS (fasting blood sugar), PPBS (postprandial blood sugar), and Thyroid profile.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
