Q. What is the treatment for white spots around the eyes in an eight-month-old baby?

My brother's daughter is eight months old and has had small white spots around her eyes for the last four months. Please suggest treatment options.

I understand your concern.
From the image attached (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity), I would like to suggest the following:
1. Hydrocortisone topical 0.127 % cream, mixed with a moisturizer containing aloe vera, honey, and tea tree extract, is applied in equal proportion in a thin layer in the morning. Hydrocortisone topical 0.127 % is a very mild steroid and there is no harm in topical application. You can use it for 30 days.
2. Tacrolimus 0.03 % can be mixed with a moisturiser containing aloe vera, honey, and tea tree extract in equal proportion and applied on a white patch during bed time.
3. Avoid all sorts of vitamins C diets like lemons and oranges.
4. Decapeptide can be applied on the affected areas on Saturday night and can be exposed to the sun on Sunday morning. No need to apply Tacrolimus cream on Saturday night and Hydrocortisone cream on Sunday morning and I would suggest you contact your specialist and do the following for 30 days.
