Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My child is three years and six months old and he is diagnosed with adenoid enlargement.

His tongue is always white when he gets up in the morning. I make him brush and clean his tongue twice daily.

Is there any cure for his problem as he does not eat properly? Can this white tongue be the reason?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand the situation you are facing with your child.

It seems like your child is having a fungal infection. Application of antifungal medicine can help in curing it.

Maintenance of proper oral hygiene is of utmost importance.

Hope this will help you and your child recover quickly.

Thanks.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Is it a serious problem? What can be the reason behind it?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Do not get worried.

It is one of the most common problems encountered in children.

As long as your child is active and does not have any other issues, it is just like any other common fungal infection.

If it persists, then we need to think of any underlying serious issue.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
