Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My tongue is always white, and I have been experiencing this for the past two years, and there are no other symptoms. Should I be concerned about this?

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thanks for the reply, and here is the history you asked for :

  • I never drink alcohol.
  • I am not a smoker.
  • I have never been to a dentist.
  • I am just an overeater.
  • I never brushed my tongue at night.
  • I only brush in the morning.
  • I do not have any lesions on my tongue, but only coating without pain.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and saw the details you have sent me.

I suggest you avoid very spicy hot, or hard foods, and you must brush your teeth and tongue just before you sleep. It is not about whiteness. Bacterial ingress makes it easier for white lesions to occur on the tongue. That is what I mean. Also, how is your general health? Any other issues? Before prescribing Antioxidant therapy, I need to know if you have any other medical problems. If not, I will prescribe you right away. Let me know. Antioxidants will help you overcome this load and even dietary modifications can also help. Do let me know about your general health.

I hope this helps.

Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
