Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My gums have been red and swollen for the past two to three days. There is a particular spot at the back of my right lower wisdom tooth that almost looks like the gum has split into two. I can see the whole tooth and the nearby gum area is white.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I understand your concern. At this age, it is very common to have swollen and red gums in the area of incompletely erupted (impacted) wisdom teeth. I suggest you consult an oral surgeon for clinical examination and needful medications. Till then maintain your oral hygiene by gargling with mouthwash after every meal and brushing your teeth twice daily.

I hope this has helped you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
