Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had a root canal on my right wisdom tooth, which erupted a few years ago. I have frequent mouth ulcers near that area. I am having severe pain in the right side of the brain, frequent running nose, and soreness on the right side. I want to know if this pain on the right side is due to the wisdom tooth or not.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

There are strong possibilities of problems in the wisdom tooth or any other tooth on the right side which can cause pain in teeth, jaws, head, neck, and ear. Mouth ulcers can occur due to a traumatic bite by a sharp tooth on the same side. However, I have a few questions,

1. Is there any sharp tooth in that region?

2. Do you feel any stress while taking medications?

3. Do you feel any pain on biting in the root canal-treated wisdom tooth?

Kindly follow up with the answers.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.
