Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have PCOD. I am planning for a pregnancy and taking a few medications. I found my endometrium thickness is low so I am eating pomegranate daily. Also, I have been given an injection to rupture an egg. Can pomegranate help to increase the thickness of the endometrium?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I will suggest you take Kazharchikkai (fever nut) for one month then plan for pregnancy. I suggest you do not take it during pregnancy as it is a very strong herb. Take one seed every day and make it as a powder. Daily morning half part of this powder you have to mix it with buttermilk, asafoetida powder (pinch), and a pinch of salt. Stir well. Have it on an empty stomach in the morning. Give a gap of a minimum of half an hour and go for breakfast.

Subsequently, in the evening do this for better results. Take the remaining powder and add half the amount of pepper powder. Mix it well. Have it in the evening. Give a gap of a minimum of half an hour and go for dinner.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
