Alternative foods are also mentioned.

  1. Early morning (7 a.m.): Three to four pieces of soaked almonds or sprouts.
  2. Breakfast (8:30 a.m.): Four slices of brown bread plus three boiled eggs or bread with four tablespoons of peanut butter.
  3. Midmorning (11 a.m.): Fruit juice, especially pineapple or banana milkshake (one glass) or any fruit juice.
  4. Lunch (1:30 p.m.): 7.05 ounces (200 grams) of cooked rice, one bowl of vegetable curry, 1.76 ounces (50 grams) of dal, 5.29 ounces (150 grams) of chicken breast curry, and half a cup of sour curd.
  5. Evening snacks (5:30 p.m.): Chicken stew or semolina porridge (one bowl).
  6. Dinner (9 p.m.): four pieces of roti or 150 grams of rice, one bowl of paneer curry.

Advice:

  1. Engage in exercise like strength training or yoga.
  2. Avoid stress and alcohol.
  3. Drink plenty of water (ten glasses a day).
  4. Eat larger portions of food at each meal.
  5. Before meals, take a short walk as it helps stimulate hunger.
  6. Get at least seven to eight hours of sleep per day.
  7. You can have chocolate, pastries, cake, chips, butter, ghee, and paratha.
