I finished my BS Pre-Medical Course at the University of Santo Tomas. I studied Medicine at the same University and completed my Medical Post-Graduate Internship at UP-PGH. All my academic and clinical experiences helped me hurdle my Medical Board Licensure Examination (1973). I worked in government hospitals more than 30 years; As a General Practitioner to Medical Specialist III - Anesthesia; later moved to Administrative function and Clinics as Chief Training Officer handling hospital programs on: HIV/AIDS; Family Planning lecturer; Counselling (to Staff, Trainees and others); Alternative Medicine; Assistance in Medical Missions like “Operation Smile” conducted in the Hospital; and Public Health Radio Communications Out-reach programs. I also earned my Master in Public Health at UP-CPH as a SEAMEO (Southeast Asian Ministries Education Organization) scholar. Utmost to my satisfaction, I have earned 3rd Level Career Executive Service Eligibilities (CESE - Development Academy of the Phil. and CSEE - Civil Service Commission). My latest experience and during my early retirement was a one year stint as College Secretary in a budding Medical School, a very worthwhile service close to my heart in motivating medical students to developing compassion and competence in their future profession as medical doctors. For now, I attend to Pastoral Community Health as well as Medical Consultations.
