What could cause consistent hip pain that worsens during the night?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. Thank you for your query. I understand your concern. The hip is a large area, but from my experience, I would presume it is on the outer aspect of your hip. Are you in the habit of sitting with your leg crossed or your ankle on the opposite ankle or ankle on the opposite knee or under the opposite hip? Or if the chair or surface where you are sitting is low for your height? These sitting habits can be the cause of your pain.
