Medical Conditions - Albinism

Albinism refers to an inherited condition characterized by no or low production of melanin pigment. Melanin pigment decides the color of your skin, hair, and eyes. Furthermore, it is essential for the growth of optic nerves and therefore causes vision problems in people with albinism. An individual with albinism is more prone to skin cancer because of their increased sensitivity to the sun.
