Anticholinergics are drugs that block the action of a neurotransmitter called acetylcholine. It transfers signals between cells that affect body functions. These drugs can treat various conditions, including urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), and certain types of poisoning. The drug carries some side effects, including dry mouth, blurry vision, constipation, drowsiness, sedation, and hallucinations.
