They contain carboxymethylcellulose, dextran, glycerin, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate, polyvinyl alcohol, povidone, and propylene glycol. They are used in conditions causing burning, irritation, and discomfort to the eyes, and they also protect the eye from injury and infections.
