They make changes in the digestive system. Intragastric balloon, sleeve gastrotomy, endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty, gastric bypass, and biliopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch are the surgeries that are known as bariatric surgery. Excessive bleeding, bowel obstruction, gall stones, blood clots, malnutrition, etc., are the drawbacks of this surgery.
