Medical Conditions - Bladder Control

Bladder control problems are also known as urinary incontinence. There is a loss of bladder control caused due to problems in the muscles and nerves that hold urine in the bladder. There is leakage of urine during normal daily activities, bedwetting, and sudden urge to urinate. The common causes are pregnancy, childbirth, menopause, enlarged prostate, obstruction, and overweight. Doing pelvic floor exercises and wearing absorbent undergarments helps a lot. Bladder retraining also helps in improving the time to hold urine.
