Medical Conditions - Bronchiolitis

Infection and inflammation of the bronchioles due to respiratory syncytial virus leads to bronchiolitis. Children and infants are more prone to bronchiolitis. It is a contagious viral infection that spreads through an infected person's cough and sneezes. It is a self-limiting disease meaning it resolves on its own after a period of two weeks. But it causes symptoms like fever, cough, and wheeze. Symptomatic treatment is needed.
