Cerebral venous thrombosis is a rare condition with an increased risk of morbidity and mortality. It occurs due to blood clot formation in the cerebral veins (veins of the brain) and dural sinuses. The symptoms may vary, and the common symptoms are nausea, vomiting, severe headache, seizures, and blurred vision. If the condition is severe stroke-like symptoms occur.
