Child abuse is termed any deliberate harm or violation to a child below 18 years. It is of different types: physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, emotional abuse, and medical abuse. A child who experiences abuse of any form exhibits guilt, confusion, and shame, thereby affecting social behavior. Anxiety, depression, anger, lack of self-confidence, harming oneself, rebellious behavior, etc., are a few of the child's manifestations who are encountering abuse. Activities like monitoring the child's actions, being affectionate, and keeping an eye on the caretakers help prevent child abuse.
