Medical Conditions - Chronic Itp

Chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is a condition that causes excessive or easy bleeding. This condition occurs when the platelet count is too low. Children can develop this condition followed by a viral infection. Immune thrombocytopenia usually shows no signs and symptoms, but if they do, then some of the signs are excessive bruising, blood in urine or stools, bleeding from the gums, and heavy menstrual flow than usual.
