Clonidine is an alpha antagonist hypotensive drug. Clonidine decreases the heart rate by relaxing the heart muscles, thus reducing blood pressure. It also helps in treating ADHD, drug withdrawal, reliving certain pain, etc. Side effects of the drug are dry mouth, tiredness, weakness, nausea, vomiting, constipation, etc.
