Coital cephalgia is a headache that occurs on and after sex for hours or even days. It is caused due to low CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) pressure and dural tear that occurs after stress caused due to sex. They can occur for months and goes on their own. It is managed by doing sex less strenuously and taking medications like Indomethacin and Beta-blockers.
