Cone dystrophy is a group of eye disorders affecting the retina's photoreceptor cells called the cone cells. It is a hereditary eye disorder that inherits mostly in an autosomal dominant pattern. Symptoms of this condition are decreased color perception, decreased visual acuity, and photophobia.
