Medical Conditions - Cyanosis

Cyanosis is a greyish or bluish cast to the skin and mucous membranes. A bluish discoloration to the hands or feet is known as peripheral cyanosis. Usually, it is caused by low levels of oxygen in the red blood cells (RBC) or problems in getting the oxygenated blood.
