Dental injury includes injury to the teeth, gingiva(gums), lips, tongue, and jaw bones. Fractured teeth or jaw bones are severely painful, and injured lips, tongue, and gums cause bleeding and pain. A fractured or missing tooth is the most common type of dental injury. Tooth avulsion, subluxation, intrusion, and extrusion all are types of dental injury. The dental injury requires immediate treatment. In case of dental injury, consult with the dentist immediately.
