Dermatoses of pregnancy refer to a group of pruritic skin eruptions seen only during pregnancy. Pemphigoid gestationis (PG), an atopic eruption of pregnancy, and polymorphic eruption of pregnancy are common dermatoses of pregnancy. Clinically the lesions present as pruritic papules or plaques. Systemic or topical steroids and antihistamines are used to treat this condition.
