Dextrocardia is a congenital condition in which the heart is pointed towards the right side instead of the left. The etiology is unclear. In rare cases, the heart is present as a mirror image of the normal heart. It can also be associated with other heart defects like pulmonary stenosis, endocardial cushion effect, ventricular septal defect, double outlet right ventricle, and absence of a ventricle.
