Medical Conditions - Double Vision

Double vision is otherwise called diplopia. In this, two images of an object can be seen. It affects balance, movement, and reading ability. If it involves one eye, it is referred to as monocular. If it involves both eyes, then it is called binocular. It is often caused due to previous trauma, stroke, and other neurological disorders. It can also be caused due to excess external pressure given on one eye, extreme fatigue, and using incorrect eyeglass prescription. It can be treated by using glasses, doing eye exercise, wearing opaque contact lenses, having Botox injections, and surgery.
