Drug interactions occur when similar drugs or opposing drugs causing effects on the body when administered together. It occurs due to changes in absorption, metabolism, or elimination of drugs. They are of three types. They are drug-to-drug interactions where there is an interaction of drugs with other drugs, drug-food interactions where the drug interacts with food, and drug-disease interactions where the drug interacts with the disease.
