Medical Conditions - Dry Hair

Dry hair occurs when the hair lacks moisture. It occurs due to surrounding environmental conditions, hair care habits, and physical health. Living in a dry climate, frequent use of harsh shampoos, and washing hair too often can also cause dry hair. Hypothyroidism and anorexia nervosa are some conditions where dry hair occurs along with other symptoms. Taking a balanced diet with lifestyle changes helps to provide some relief from dry hair.
