An eardrum repair includes surgical procedures which are carried out to repair perforation or damage to the eardrum (tympanic membrane). If the perforation or damage is small, myringoplasty is done, and the hole is patched with gel. If the damage is large, tympanoplasty is done and if the damage is to the ear ossicles, ossiculoplasty is done.
