Early satiety arises when the patient is incapable to eat a complete meal or feels full even after consuming merely a little quantity of food. Early satiety is generally induced by gastroparesis, a disorder in which the stomach is lagging to empty. Different reasons for early satiety are obstruction, Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), tumor of the abdominal organs, and ulcers of the stomach (peptic ulcers).
