Endophthalmitis refers to the inflammation of the fluids (aqueous or vitreous) caused by infection. It is of two types, namely exogenous and endogenous endophthalmitis. The common symptoms of endophthalmitis are redness of the eyes, blurry or poor vision, pus discharge from the eyes, eye injury, and swollen eyelids.
