The enlarged liver is otherwise called hepatomegaly. The liver helps digest fats, fights against infections, and stores sugar in the form of glycogen. The enlarged liver can occur due to liver disease, congestive heart failure or cancer, toxin poisoning, and genetic disease. It is often caused due to excessive alcohol drinking, poor eating habits, infections, and hepatitis. Symptoms like abdominal pain, nausea, fatigue, and yellowing of eyes can occur along with it.
