Medical Conditions - Epidural Anesthesia

Epidural anesthesia works by blocking the nerve signals in the lower spine. The local anesthetic agent is injected into the epidural space in the lumbar, thoracic, or cervical regions of the spine. This is mostly used for labor and delivery. It may cause a sudden drop in blood pressure, headache after delivery, soreness in the back, dizziness, etc.
