Medical Conditions - Esophageal Varices

When the blood supply to the liver is restricted, oesophageal varices frequently form. People with severe liver disease frequently experience these. There are typically no symptoms unless the veins bleed. Oesophageal varices that are bleeding can cause blood vomits, tar-like or bloody feces, and in severe cases, shock. A liver transplant is an uncommon treatment, along with beta-blockers and methods to control bleeding.
