Medical Conditions - Essential Thrombocytosis

Essential thrombocytosis is otherwise called primary thrombocytopenia. This is a rare disorder affecting the body, and there is abnormal production of platelets. It can cause abnormal blood clotting or bleeding. It occurs due to exposure to chemicals or electrical wiring. The symptoms are bleeding, headache, vision disturbance, easy bruising, gastrointestinal bleeding, and coldness in the fingers. Taking low-dose Aspirin reduces the risk of having blood clotting, platelet lowering medications, and plateletpheresis are done to manage this condition.
