Etoricoxib belongs to the family of COX-2 selective NSAIDs, which is a selective inhibitor of the Cyclooxygenase-2 enzyme, responsible for pain and inflammation. It is advised to treat rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and back pain. Common side effects include diarrhea, abdominal pain, constipation, nausea, flatulence, fatigue, peripheral edema, hypertension, breathing difficulty, etc.
