Medical Conditions - Excimer Laser

The excimer laser or the excited dimer laser is used in the treatment of several skin disorders like vitiligo, atopic dermatitis, leukoderma, lichen planus, psoriasis, etc. Excimer lasers target only the particular affected skin site without affecting the adjacent normal skin. They have low ultraviolet dose exposure and have a short therapy course.
