Medical Conditions - Fasting Blood Sugar Level

The test used to check the blood sugar level after eight hours of fasting is called fasting blood sugar level. A fasting blood level between 70 to 100 mg/dL is considered normal, and levels between 100 to 125 mg/dL is considered as prediabetes. If two consecutive tests show levels higher than 125 mg/dL, then you have diabetes.
