Fluocinonide is used to treat dermatologic conditions like eczema, dermatitis, rashes, and allergies by reducing the redness and swelling of the affected area. Initially, burning sensation, itching, and dryness may be associated, which will disappear later. While serious side effects like thinning of the skin, unwanted hair growth, stretch marks, and folliculitis are of concern and need to be reported.
