It is a benign vaginal cyst that is very commonly found during a gynecologic examination. The cyst develops along the mesonephric or Wolffian duct parts that do not regress during the development of the reproductive system. It may cause discomfort in the lower abdomen, painful intercourse, and difficult vaginal delivery.
