The gestational trophoblastic disease occurs as a group of rare tumors causing abnormal growth of cells inside the women's uterus. The common types of gestational trophoblastic disease are hydatiform mole, invasive mole, choriocarcinoma, placental site trophoblastic tumor, and epitheloid trophoblastic tumor. There is abnormal vaginal bleeding, severe nausea, and uterus being larger than the expected level. They are treated by undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy.
