Balanitis is an inflammation of the penis head or glans penis caused by yeast infection. It most commonly occurs in uncircumcised men, and is of three types namely pseudoepitheliomatous keratotic and micaceous balanitis, Zoon's balanitis, and circinate balanitis. Swelling, pain, redness, painful urination, white discharge, foul-smell, penis sores, etc., are the symptoms of balanitis. Circumcision, topical antifungals, antibiotics, controlling diabetes, and mainataining genital hygiene are the treatment modalities.
