Medical Conditions - Glomerulonephritis

Inflammation of the glomeruli, the tiny filters of the kidney that removes fluid, electrolytes, and waste from the blood and pass them into the urine, is called glomerulonephritis. It can be either acute or chronic. Hematuria, proteinuria, hypertension, and edema are the symptoms of glomerulonephritis. Complications of glomerulonephritis include acute renal failure, chronic renal disease, hypertension, and nephrotic syndrome.
