A rare genetic disorder characterized by the inability of the blood to clot due to lack of clotting factors is called hemophilia. Excessive bleeding from cuts or wounds, bruises, joint swelling and tightness, blood in urine and stool, nosebleeds, etc., are the manifestations of hemophilia. Intracranial bleeding can occur even with a slight bump causing prolonged headache, vomiting, lethargy, double vision, fatigue, seizures, and convulsions. Clotting factor replacement therapy is the recommended treatment modality.
