Medical Conditions - Hypercalciuria

Hypercalciuria is a condition when daily urinary calcium excretion exceeds 250 mg in women and 275–300 mg in men. People with hypercalciuria experience blood in urine, painful urination, side, belly, or lower belly pain, kidney stones, and repeated urinary tract infections (UTI). Treatment includes a low-calcium diet, diuretics, orthophosphates, bisphosphonates, and calcium-binding agents.
