This results in a sharp decline in blood pressure. If not treated, it can cause organ failure and death. Symptoms include fatigue, irritability, abdominal pain, muscle aches, and a sudden increase in body weight. There is no known cure, so the treatment involves managing the symptoms and preventing future attacks, which includes monthly infusions of intravenous immunoglobulins.
