Medical Conditions - Implantation Cramps

Implantation cramps are mild cramps or twinges that are experienced by a few women in the lower abdomen around the time of implantation, which happen after a fertilized egg attaches with the lining of the uterus. Implantation cramps are usually brief and mild and may be accompanied by light spotting or discharge. They are considered a normal part of the early stages of pregnancy.
