Fluid build-up in the chambers of the inner ear is known as Meniere disease. The build-up causes severe dizziness, ringing sensation in the ears, feeling of fullness, and hearing loss. This Meniere disease usually affects only one ear. It can develop at any age but is more likely to happen in adults between the ages of 40 to 60 years.
