Invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC), otherwise called infiltrating ductal carcinoma, is a type of breast cancer that originates in the milk duct but also invades the surrounding fatty tissues. The symptoms include lump in the breast, redness of breast, breast swelling, nipple pain and discharge, and lumps in the underarms.
